Faerie Magazine summer issue

Hi everyone! We are happily progressing toward our summer issue of Faerie Magazine - our spring issue has only been out for a couple of weeks and it already looks like it might be our most well-received, and we're thinking how nice it would be if summer followed suit! We are actively looking for new works of fiction, poetry, and visual art in order to achieve that goal. You can find submission guidelines by going to our website (www.faeriemagazine.com). Spread your wings and take flight! Let th… Continue

Emerging artists - and other stuff...

It is an intensely rainy day here in Maryland; severe thunder storms, threats of tornadoes, dreary gray skies...it all adds up to good sitting inside and working weather. I am myself just coming back to health after a wicked and rude bout of mini-flu, and all around me people are falling by the wayside with the same sickness. I tell them to keep their chins up, it will pass, but I know it doesn't actually help. Perhaps when the sun comes back out. Anyhoo, I have a task at hand. I am determined… Continue

Hello Yama, I would love to subscribe to the Magazine. But not sure where to find it. New to the site so give me a hint. LOL You have also taken on a wonderful venture finding emerging artists. I think somewhere along the lines we are all emerging artists. For me I feel I will always be emerging as I constently try to improve and change directions my art goes. LOL But, perfection is my middle name and I strive for that, even if it does not always work. ;-) But that is the part of growing as an Artist. Good luck with your venture and take a look if you like as my work to date. ;-)

HI Yama!
Since you posted that comment about looking for emerging artists you must have been inundated with requests! I hope it went well and that you found the right artists for the magazine! Love you dog! He's cute - even tho I'm truly a cat person. LOL

I'm excited about it too! Yes, you should be getting it any day (if you haven't already). I wore your wings at Spoutwood May Day Festival this past weekend - I saw so many Fancy Fairy wings! And people loved mine.

THE FAIRY SOCIETY's FEATURED GALLIRIES

Part of our mission at The Fairy Society echoes the feelings of a bygone age where courtesy was once respected – a place of refuge and support for deeply sensitive and wonderfully talented artists to safely share and explore new ventures – Showing by example that, even in the business world, good manners and kindness truly count and as a consequence bring much happiness. At the same time have it remain a safe, confidential and comfortable place for us to come and make magic together, At last, a place to feel safe and allow your own unique abilities to truly fly. A place where imagination knows no bounds. The Fairy Society will deservedly establish itself as a well respected and loved part of the Fairy World and we will all be the better for it.
